K10D ISO 200 samples

I'm having trouble uploading images to blogger, but here's the start of several sample images taken last week in NYC. I was using the K10D and 50mm f/1.4 to walk around Rockefeller Center in hopes of getting some nice images for PhotoPlus Expo. These first two images are rather tight crops of the original RAW files, shot at ISO 200, and converted to JPEGs to show the detail you can expect.

K10D Photos of Mom

After PhotoPlus Expo NYC closed Saturday, I went out to see my 85 yr old mother in Connecticut. These photos of her were shot with the K10D and 31mm Limited lens at f/4.0 at ISO settings 200, 400, 800, and 1600. Images shot in RAW and processed to JPEGs with no adjustments to color, saturation, sharpness etc. The first image in each sequence is a 1920 x 2860 crop from the original 2592 x 3872 file. The second image is a 1000 x 1000 crop to show details in the face. NOTE (1): These images were shot with firmware Ver 0.32 which is not final. NOTE (2): if you're viewing this blog in FireFox, you should be able to click on the images to see larger views.
