Baltimore-Bred Brandon Hardesty Bound for Jimmy Kimmel Live

It was bound to happen. See what's passing for entertainment in 21st century America.

At least that was the belief of GEICO execs.

Baltimore resident, Brandon Hardesty, a 20-year old who recreates scenes from popular cinema on the lowest budget in entertainment history, will premiere short re-enactments of top Oscar contenders throughout this week on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Don't think it's been a meteoric rise to the top. Brandon has been shooting videos on location from his parents' basement since 2006.

Only one tiny difference between him and oodles of other wannabes. Brandon has actual talent, as evidenced in this re-enactment from last year's Oscar winner, Pan's Labyrinth.
