Brandon Hoerres Bike Check

Brandon Hoerres just built a new Mutiny Nocturnal so Gaz did a bike check. I like that Mutiny sprizzzocket that he's rockin. Read about Brandon's new whip here.

There's also some other pics of the 45th street ditch and the 5 hip ditch.

And lastly, read the Neil Harrington's story about how his cat Eden went AWOL only to be found 5 weeks later.

Don't forget to read the Brandon Hoerres interview if you missed it!

Micreation Apparel Promo

It's getting real cold out there and it's time to get some new gear. Hoodies, track jackets, and long sleeve shirts are the best because you can peel them off as your blood starts pumping. Don't wait until you parents go out and get you some whack shit from wherever the hell they shop. TELL THEM what you want. Or tell them where they can get you the stuff you want. It'll save everyone time and trouble.

Micreation is having a promo...until Dec. 24th, anyone who places an order at the Micreation online shop will get a free shirt. There are a couple of fine print details so read the graphic.

The Mutiny Tri-Badge hoodies look fresh. You can go to the Mutiny Website to check those out or just look at any picture of Justin Simpson or Ryan Smith.

I always like the MacNeil apparel. Pictured here is the Repeat Hoodie which will definitely keep you warm and score some style points.

Note: the Micreation promo is only good when you purchase from the Micreation webite.

Micreation and Mutiny hoodies can be purchased at Empire Bmx and the MacNeil gear can be bought at Dan's Comp.

Video: Austin Spot Check

There's nothing little about Hanson Little's ender in Mutiny's Stoked On Being Pumped.
Wait until you see the DVD... it's huge.
Anyways, if you have never heard of him I have a feeling you will be hearing a lot more about him as more and more people see SOBP.

Check out this video from Vimby where he talks a bit about Empire BMX, the Austin scene, and a little about himself.

Stoked On Being Pumped Premiere

Well, this post is a little late but... So the Stoked On Being Pumped Premiere was last Friday at the Alehouse which is pretty much BMX central on Friday nights in Austin. Adam Roye spins the jams and everybody proceeds to get sloshed and try and dance.

I definitely think this is the video of the year as far as BMX videos go. The riding was flawless of course but there was something much, much different about this video. I think it boils down to the hard work and creativity that Mutiny put into this effort. It also comes from Joe Simon's eye and his creative vision which he has honed. It's something that is lacking in almost all the other videos that are rushed to market and it is definitely not there in the web videos that kids throw up on YouTube.

I told this to Joe and repeated it over and over to people... "That video made everyone look like a superhero." The angles, the riding, the editing... just the whole FEEL of the video was electric.
It made me feel like our "sport" is just as important as any pro team sport. Stoked On Being Pumped and Odyssey's Electronical are raising the stakes which is a good thing for BMX.

And let me emphasize that this is a video to own because you're going to want to watch it over and over, trust me. And if you have Blu-Ray you're lucky as hell.

So since everyone has seen the SOBP trailer you can head over to Defgrip and check out their exclusive B-Roll footage of the video. Most definitely worth a look.

All the after-party madness was captured by Devon Hutchins and can be seen here.
How many pros can you spot?
