Video: Alex Liiv Scarred

MTV's show Scarred has clips from all different types of sports, not just BMX. As fun as it is to watch inline skaters rack their nuts on rails... I find that I am drawn to the BMX clips only because it terrifies me that something like this could happen to me or any of my friends.

That said, I am not hopping 24 stairs to flat. Or in this case I should say to a flattened face. Alex Liiv was bored one day and decided to hop a double set. His wheel totally collapsed and he tastes the pavement.

What I'm wondering is did he laced that rim himself or did he just reach the physical stress limit of that rim? Watch this and start second guessing your bigger tricks...

Video: Chester Blacksmith Scarred

Remember when this ad for the Insight video came out? You may have read about what happened to Chester Blacksmith while filming for the Insight video but he actually did an MTV Scarred segment complete with leg snap footy.

I came across this and just had to post it. Gnarly. I don't care what anybody says... BMX is way more dangerous than skateboarding.
