Nyquist hits the road.
Ryan Nyquist is quite the family man these days, a wife, a kid, and another kid on the way...
Ryan recently hit the road with another family to explore some of America's wonderful national parks all packed in a RV and here's what he had to say...
"I just got back from a pretty epic RV trip to Joshua Tree and Death Valley. It was more of a family vacation than a BMX trip (although I did get a couple hours of riding in at Woodward West on our way). I'm gonna summarize the trip, because there was just too much good stuff to talk about…
-I thought Death Valley and Joshua Tree National Parks were nothing but flat, hot deserts. Man was I wrong! So many awesome mountains and wild rock formations, sand dunes, and salt flats… I could have stayed there for days exploring.
-We rented an RV for the trip. If you've never experienced a road trip in an RV you are missing. So many laughs and good times. Even the somewhat miserable times are amazing in hindsight.
-We organized this trip with another family, so, in total, there was two guys, two ladies (one pregnant), and three babies ranging from two-years-old to 4 months old.
-Our RV came equipped with a shower, bathroom, and kitchenette, so we pretty much had everything we needed to be comfortable for a week on the road.
-There were times when you were driving at night for hours without seeing a house or town, street lights, or electrical or phone lines. It was so pitch dark out there!
Never pass up an opportunity to go on a trip!!!"
